We will be having our ceremony and reception at Loulu Palm Estate, a private estate on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Loulu Palm has a beautiful garden, a mountain backdrop, and fantastic private beach. It is an absolutely gorgeous location and has the added advantage of an event end time of midnight or later, a rarity on Oahu as most venues close at 10pm! We have some photos of our venue in our Photo Albums.

When

We request guests arrive at the venue by 4pm. The coach from Waikiki (please see the Coach to Venue page) will arrive between 3:45pm - 4pm. Refreshments will be served upon arrival. The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm, followed by a cocktail reception for an hour or so and then dinner at 6pm. We have a tentative finishing time of approximately 11:30pm.

Dress Code

We request that guests wear semi-formal attire, bearing in mind that it is quite warm in Hawaii. We suggest tea dresses for the ladies and for the gentlemen, linen suits are quite comfortable in Hawaii's climate, or else trousers (not jeans) with collared shirt and tie. Shorts and t-shirts would not be appropriate.
Note that as the ceremony is in the late afternoon it probably will not be too hot.

Getting There

The Loulu Palm Estate is located about an hour away from Waikiki. For our guests that choose to stay in Waikiki, we will be providing a coach to the venue and back. The coach will leave from four central points in Waikiki at around 2pm. Please see the Coach to Venue page for locations of the pick up points.

The first coach to take guests back to Waikiki will leave Loulu Palm at approx 10pm for those that wish to end the night at that stage. Another coach will leave for Waikiki at approximately 11:15pm for guests who wish to kick on a bit longer.

Guests who decide to stay on the North Shore or any other part of the island should make their own transportation arrangements to and from the wedding venue. Please note that it may be difficult to get cabs on the North Shore at night. There is parking available at the venue for anyone driving.

For flight options to Hawaii from Australia, New Zealand or UK, please see the Travel page.

For accommodation near the venue or in Waikiki, please see the Accommodation page.
