So we are finally in Hawaii and our wedding is less than a week away! Guests, please feel free to contact us when you arrive. We have changed hotels

Originally we had planned on staying at the Halekulani during our time in Oahu for our wedding. But last November the new Trump Waikiki apartment hotel opened and after seeing their rooms, we have booked our accommodation there! It is across the road from the Halekulani so is still in the same general area. Pleae see the Accommodation page for more information.

We have finally booked our flights to Hawaii (many of our guests beat us to it, we've been slack!). We arrive late in the evening on Sunday 8th March 2010 and we depart on Tuesday 16th March. This will hopefully give us plenty of time to get over the jet lag, finish up last minute things for the wedding, and spend time with our guests. We're getting very excited, not too long to go now!

Only 6 months to go till our wedding day! We also celebrated 2 happy years together today.
We have sent out our Save the Date cards, which all our guests should have received by now. We will be sending out the official invitations about 4 months before the wedding date (so around November time). However you can RSVP now if you wish.
Our Online RSVP page is now working so you can quickly and easily RSVP.
We are also in the processes of organising a welcome luau for our guests, so when you RSVP please make sure to include the RSVP for the luau as well, please see the Events page for luau details including date and time.

What a successful week in Hawaii - we have a venue!

We've just returned from a hectic, but worthwhile, trip to Hawaii. The past week has been a frenzy of activity where we met our wonderful wedding planner, Christina, in person for the first time, and accomplished so much for our wedding. Christina took us to see venue sites, photographers, florists, stationers, cake bakers, and to tastings with caterers. Everything was so good that every choice we had to make was incredibly hard! After much discussion and agonising, we have picked our photographer, caterer, cake baker and florist, and we have chosen a venue!
The venue we decided on is called Loulu Palm Estate and it is gorgeous. Please see the Ceremony Venue page for all the details.

Nick has asked Jon Travaglia to be his best man and Jon has accepted! Jon is an old friend of Nick's from high school and we are delighted he is going to be part of our Bridal Party.

Maid of Honour and Wedding Planner sorted!

One of Charmayne's bestest friends from Oz, Seema Sandhu, has kindly agreed to be Maid of Honour. You can check her out on our Bridal Party page.
We've also hired a Hawaii based wedding planner, a lovely lady named Christina from a company called Pacific Aisles (great name!), which we're very excited about. Check out their gorgeous website http://www.pacificaisles.com. We'll be meeting up with Christina in Hawaii to hunt for venues, caterers, florists, photographers, cakes etc at the end of this month.
So a couple of major steps accomplished - yay!

Charms designed it and Nick wrote the code for it. Geeks in love, ain't it grand!
The design was inspired by frangipanis, Charms loves frangipanis and they are plentiful in Hawaii so you will see a lot of them at our wedding. The site also features the colour scheme we plan to have on the day. Having said that though, the day is just over a year away so who knows what will happen between now and then!
We are hoping to have our wedding on Saturday 13 March 2010 - 398 sleeps to go. We'll be going to Hawaii in early April to book a venue and find a wedding planner. So hopefully in a couple of months time we will be able to confirm the date.
